Here is a look at the scheduled start dates for the NCAA Baseball Super Regionals, the second step on the road to Omaha for the CWS.

For 64 teams that make it to the field for the NCAA baseball tournament in early June, the first goal is simple: advance to the Super Regional round to keep their hopes alive of qualifying for the 2016 edition of the College World Series.

The second round of the postseason for college baseball will take place starting on June 10th and run through the 13th. Four of the eight best-of-three Super Regionals will start on Friday (June 10th) while the second group will start on Saturday (June 11th) and finish play on Monday if needed.

The top eight seeds nationally are set to host the Super Regional round if they advance. If a top eight seed is eliminated in the first round, then the Super Regional will be hosted by the higher seeded team between that regional and the one it is paired with in the bracket.

Last year, seven of the eight top national seeds advanced to the Super Regional round (with the top seeded UCLA Bruins being upset in the regional round). Four of those teams, the Florida Gators, LSU Tigers, Miami Hurricanes and TCU Horned Frogs, advancing to Omaha for the College World Series.

The 2016 College World Series takes place from June 18th through the 29th in Omaha, Nebraska on the networks of ESPN.
