While the Lakers No. 2 overall pick will be between one of two choices, the team has plenty of more options to choose from with their No. 32 overall pick in the draft. With a pick near the top of the second round, the Lakers can add another young player to grow and develop on their bench or they can pick an overseas talent.

With the Lakers in need of some center depth, the team should consider Chinese center Zhou Qi with their No. 32 pick. Qi is an interesting prospect that is gauging the eye of many around the league because of his size, versatility and upside.

He has the athleticism to play center and stretch the floor in today’s league. If there’s an issue with Qi, it’s that he doesn’t have the muscle and weight on his frame to play the center position in the league just yet.

At 20 years old, Qi could probably use more seasoning overseas and a chance to get bigger, but the Los Angeles market would be a great place for him to thrive in and he would be come popular instantaneously.

This is a player to definitely keep an eye out for at the No. 32 spot for Los Angeles.
