The NBA Finals start tonight. Who are our FanSided NBA experts picking?

In just a few hour the NBA Finals will begin, a rematch between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Warriors had the best record in regular season history, winning 73 games, but needed an epic to comeback to recover from a 3-1 deficit and win three straight against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers struggled through the regular season. They won the Eastern Conference easily but never seemed to find a collective rhythm. Those concerns have long since been buried as they breezed their way through their side of the playoff bracket, going 12-2 and burying opponents in a hail of three-pointers.

There are plenty of reasonable arguments for either team prevailing in the Finals, so I checked in with a few of our FanSided NBA experts — Mark Carman (FanSided Video Host), Chris Reichert (Upside and Motor Editor-in-Chief), Matt Cianfrone (Friendly Bounce Editor-in-Chief), Scott Rafferty (Hardwood Paroxysm Editor-in-Chief), Josh Hill (FanSided Editor), Phil Watson (NBA Editorial Director), Tom West (FanSided Contributor), and Gerald Bourguet (HoopsHabit Assistant Editor) — for their predictions.

Josh Hill (@jdavhill): Cavaliers in 6
Mark Carman (@theCarm): Warriors in 7

Ian Levy (@HickoryHigh): Warriors in 6
Matt Cianfrone (@Matt_Cianfrone): Warriors in 6

Tom West (@TomWestNBA): Warriors in 6
Phil Watson (@FurtherReview): Warriors in 5
Gerald Bourguet (@GeraldBourguet): Warriors in 5
