Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns vs. Princeton Tigers

Other than having arguably the best mascot in all of college sports, the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns enjoyed a ton of success during the college baseball regular season. That time has passed now, though, and they’ve earned a spot as a regional host for the Lafayette Regional in the 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament. They’ll get their tourney going on Friday at Moore Field as they take on the Ivy League’s Princeton Tigers.

Louisiana-Lafayette has truly been a revelation this season. The Ragin’ Cajuns won 41 games on the year and competed with some of the very best teams in the sport throughout the year and competed well. While Princeton may show signs of life, it’s hard to not say that the hosts are clear favorites in this matchup.
