Major League Baseball continues into the dog days of summer with double-digit games on this Monday, June 6. 20 teams in action give us a solid pool of players to pick from in today’s DraftKings daily picks. To help you find the hottest hitters, the best matchups, and the most fantasy points for your salary, check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides for all the players I think you should look to get in your lineup.

More from Chicago Cubs

The main contests on DraftKings start tonight at 7:05 PM ET when four games get underway in the Eastern time zone.  In the middle time slot at 8:05, the two Texas teams face off in Arlington.  The West Coast wave of games get underway with four games starting between 9:40 and 10:10. ESPN2 features the Cubs and Phillies at 7:00 as the only game getting national TV coverage, but there are also interesting matchups in Detroit (Blue Jays vs Tigers), Pittsburgh (Mets vs Pirates), and Los Angeles (Rockies vs Dodgers).

As we roll into our full-slate of fantasy baseball coverage, my DraftKings daily picks will be posted each morning here at FanSided and are designed to provide you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team. In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, there are a variety of options on each slide with high-salary options and high-value options at each position. For starting pitchers and outfielders, I’ve separated into high-salary and high-value options on each slide while the other positions each get one slide with multiple pricing options.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the matchups each player will face in tonight’s contest game.

In my daily basketball picks, it was very helpful to rank my picks every morning using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineups for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In my DraftKings daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to DraftKings pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for FanDuel, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy baseball hub. The main obvious difference between DraftKings and FanDuel is that FanDuel has just one starting pitcher selection while DraftKings allows you two starting pitchers per lineup.

If you have any questions about my picks for today or any of our FanSided fantasy coverage, you can leave them at the bottom of the page in the comments section.  For an even quicker response, you can find me throughout the day on Twitter @FansidedFantasy. Make sure to follow on Twitter for any late-breaking lineup news as well and any adjustments as lineups come out later on this Monday.

If you find my picks and analysis helpful and would like to check out my DFS fantasy baseball posts each morning, the easiest way to find the DraftKings daily picks is to drop a bookmark on our fantasy baseball hub or follow on Twitter where I’ll tweet out the links each day when my picks go live.

Let’s get our Monday coverage underway with a look at some of the high-salary options at SP.
