Rice Owls vs. Southeastern Louisiana Lions
The Rice Owls have long been a staple in the college baseball world, perpetually staying in the national conversation and remaining a threat to make a run to the College World Series. In the Baton Rouge Regional of the 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament, though, Rice are going to need to win early on Monday at Alex Box Field against the Southeastern Louisiana Lions to stay alive with the hopes of playing the LSU Tigers for the right to go to the Super Regionals.

Rain has played a huge factor in the Baton Rouge Regional to this point and has really killed the rhythm for both Southeastern Louisiana and Rice. That being said, Rice won the initial matchup between these two teams on Sunday prior to losing to LSU and finding themselves in the elimination bracket. Now the Owls will have to do it again if they want another crack at taking down the hosting Tigers.
