Xavier Musketeers vs. UC Santa Barbara Gauchos
The Xavier Musketeers have largely been the Cinderella story of the 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament to this point. Despite barely finishing over .500 this season, Xavier came into the Nashville Regional and knocked off the hosts in the Vanderbilt Commodores (who lost their second game to make for an early exit). Xavier now needs two wins on Monday at Hawkins Field against a rolling UC Santa Barbara Gauchos team that beat them on Sunday to advance to the Super Regionals as the No. 4 seed in the region.

UC Santa Barbara and Xavier certainly fought hard on Sunday in their game as the Gauchos jumped out to a big 3-0 lead in the first, but the Musketeers tried their hardest to fight back before ultimately falling. UC Santa Barbara will look for Andrew Calica, Clay Fisher, and Devon Gradford to keep up the production while Xavier will surely want Daniel Rizzie and Rylan Bannon to pick it up with their season on the line.
