LeBron James has to play better and Aqib Talib is a fool

The NBA Finals are currently in session, but somebody ought to tell LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

James might be one of the greatest basketball players of all-time, but he certainly plays like a guy who doesn’t always care. His Cavaliers are down 2-0 to the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals and James vacilates between pouting and indifference, as a sweep looks more likely by the minute.

If James wants to salvage any dignity at all, he should go out and play like a man on fire. Hell, inspire your teammates for a change instead of just whining.

Meanwhile, in the National Football League, Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib was shot in a Dallas nightclub over the weekend. While details remain foggy at best, there are reports now that Talib may have accidentally shot himself.

If this is the case and Talib discharged a weapon – purposefully or not – within a public setting, he’s an idiot. He is also going to be suspended, and in essence will lose millions of dollars for shooting himself. There aren’t too many people this side of Plaxico Burress that can say that. Sometimes, you need to remember you are a 30-year-old grown man, Aqib.
