High Salary OF

Mark Trumbo-Baltimore Orioles (4,100): Trumbo was one of my better FanDuel daily picks from yesterday as he went 2-4 with a double and a home run for 38.4 fantasy points. He has been straight-up mashing for the O’s lately. He is 11-26 (.423) in the past week with five homers and 11 RBI.  He and the O’s look to take their third straight from the Royals tonight as they take on Edinson Volquez. ∗∗

Nelson Cruz-Seattle Mariners (3,900): Cruz powered the M’s offense to a 7-1 last night with a pair of homers in his 2-3 night with three RBI to raise his totals for the season to .294 with 15 homers and 43 RBI. In the last week, he has hit five of those fingers and is 8-26 (.286). Tonight he faces Carlos Carrasco who he is 3-11 against in his career with two doubles, but no homers.

Ian Desmond-Texas Rangers (3,800): Desmond has multiple hits in four of his last five games with at least 12 fantasy points in each of those contests.  He hit a home run to help the Rangers beat the Astros again last night, and tonight he’ll face Doug Fister who was his teammate when both were with the Nationals. He doesn’t have the power of Cruz or Trumbo, but he can definitely contribute if he keeps producing nice stat lines. ∗∗

Nomar Mazara-Texas Rangers (3,200): Keep riding Mazara who is hitting .318 from the middle of the Rangers hot lineup.  He continues to be a very productive option for the Rangers has over 20 fantasy points for three times in his last five games. Last night was a lefty-lefty matchup but he extended his hitting streak to six games and will look to get to seven tonight against righty Doug Fister.∗∗
