Gilbert Arenas goes on derogatory rant toward Kevin Love (Photo)

Former NBA player Gilbert Arenas took to Twitter to insult Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love and used derogatory insults.

There was a time when Gilbert Arenas was one of the most lethal scorers in the NBA and made a mark for himself wearing the No. 0. Then he pulled out a gun in a locker room, washed out of the league and has since spent his time getting into trouble and making insulting statements on social media.

With Arenas feeling that he is the gatekeeper for all players that fashion his old number, he has decided that he is not happy with the fact that Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love, who wears No. 0, will not be playing in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

To say that Arenas is unhappy is an understatement. He used some of the most offensive language toward Love, in his now deleted rant, and he even insulted our mentally handicapped community as well.

The chill has seriously been gone with Arenas for some time now. To think he’s in charge of players that wear a number he once wore is absolutely absurd and then to use language that is intimidating and demeaning of the handicapped community is absolutely deplorable.

Head issues are not to be taken lightly in any sport and the safety of athletes is finally being moved forward in this country. With the damning sentiments of Arenas, it’s clear just how far we have to go.
