Klay Thompson takes shot to thigh in NBA Finals Game 3 (Video)

Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson took a huge shot to the thigh and had to leave Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

After dismantling the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first two games of the NBA Finals, Game 3 of the NBA Finals started out as bad as it possibly could early on for the Warriors. They were getting bad shots off, getting into foul trouble and fell behind a huge double-digit lead.

After things took a wrong turn for the Warriors, things got even worse. As Klay Thompson was attempting to guard Kyrie Irving, he ran into a screen from center Timofey Mozgov and took a massive shot to his thigh.

Thompson would hit the deck and would get up in pain.

After trying to walk it off, Thompson would quickly realize he couldn’t stay on the floor and would ask to leave the game. After leaving the game, Thomspon would head to the back and he would continue to hunch over in pain.

Mozgov is a large individual and taking a shot to thigh is going to hurt. Hopefully, Thompson will be able to get back on the floor, but it was a serious hit.
