Identifying the top high salary and value second base plays from around Major League Baseball for your June 10 DraftKings lineup.

Our goal is to help you win DraftKings contests with consistently strong lineups. To accomplish that, we’ll be highlighting some higher salary players worth paying up for, and some value picks that will help you save salary in key areas. These picks are specifically for DraftKings lineups, so all references to prices and fantasy points are based on DK figures.

As always, be sure to double-check final MLB lineups and monitor weather situations before locking in your DFS lineups.

High Salary

Daniel Murphy, Nationals (4,900): Murphy has seen his average drop from .394 at the start of June to .374 entering play Friday. He has a great chance to boost it back up against Philadelphia Phillies right-hander Jeremy Hellickson (4-3, 3.80 ERA). Murphy is 3-for-9 in his career against Hellickson, with a double and two home runs.

DJ LeMahieu, Rockies (4,400): All Colorado position players are viable options when the team is playing at home. LeMahieu, in particular, looks like a solid option against San Diego Padres righty Andrew Cashner (3-5, 4.78 ERA). LeMahieu is 5-for-16 in his career against Cashner, and is hitting .315 against righties this season.

High Value

Chase Utley, Dodgers (3,100): Utley isn’t the perennial All-Star he once was in Philadelphia, but he’s in the midst of a nice little bounce-back season. The matchup with San Francisco Giants right-hander Johnny Cueto is a tough one, but Utley has had success against him (10-for-26 with a home run). Utley’s probably better served as a GPP play, but he’s intriguing nonetheless.

Tommy La Stella, Cubs (3,000): La Stella benefits from hitting in the Cubs’ deep and talented lineup, but he’s been no slouch in his own right this season. He’s hitting .291 overall and .296 against right-handers, so he’s a nice option against hittable Atlanta Braves starter Bud Norris.
