The USMNT defeated Paraguay on Saturday night and now advance to the Copa America quarterfinals, but when will their next match take place?

It wasn’t the prettiest match to watch in Philadelphia on Saturday. However, Jurgen Klinsmann’s side scored the game’s only goal of the match and clinched a spot in the quarterfinals of the Copa America with their second straight win. The USMNT will have to wait and see where they go after the Colombia vs Costa Rica match ends later on Saturday.

A Colombia win or tie against Costa Rica would keep them first in the group. As a result, the US would finish runner-up and play on Friday. Their quarterfinal match would take place in New Jersey at MetLife Stadium at 8:00 p.m. ET against the winners of Group B.

If Costa Rica defeats Colombia in Houston, then the USMNT will win Group A. The winner of Group A would face off against the second-place finishers of Group B on Thursday night in Seattle at CenturyLink Field. This match will begin at 9:30 p.m. ET.

Currently, Group B is still up for grabs as Brazil and Peru are tied at the top with four points, while Ecuador is still alive with two points. The winner of the Brazil-Peru match will win the group. Ecuador could end up in second with a win of their own as long as the other match doesn’t end in a tie.

The USMNT will enjoy a night of relaxation after coming away with a big win on Saturday night to book their spot in the Copa America quarterfinals. Now they have to wait and see who exactly they will take on next in the Copa America Centenario later this week after Group B group stage matches wrap up on Sunday.
