The 32 participants for the upcoming WWE Cruiserweight Classic have been announced

There are some major changes coming the way of WWE on the main roster in regards to the upcoming talent draft and brand split. However, one of the other intriguing things set to happen is the upcoming WWE Cruiserweight Classic in which NXT talent and some of the best cruiserweight wrestlers in the world will compete in a tournament at Full Sail.

Until Monday afternoon, there had only been part of the field for the WWE Cruiserweight Classic announced via winning qualifying matches or something else. On Monday, WWE released the names of all 32 competitors in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic.

Here’s a look at the 32 wrestlers that will be competing:

Looking at that list of participants, there are some names that should be familiar to WWE fans (Brian Kendrick, Tajiri) and some that will be familiar to those loosely familiar with independent wrestling. What’s clear though is that the WWE Cruiserweight Classic is stacked.

There’s been no bracket announced yet for the WWE Cruiserweight Classic, though we do know that the tournament will take place over the course of four tapings on June 23, July 14, August 26, and with a live special on September 14. The first showing will air on the WWE Network on July 13.

With this field, you won’t want to miss a single match of the action.
