The Bulls would trade Jimmy Butler to the Timberwolves apparently, but the price tag would have to be Andrew Wiggins

With the NBA off-season fast approaching here in 2016 as the NBA Finals come to a close, we’re of course going to start hearing a lot of trade rumors. One of the more recent ones that we’ve all heard of is the Minnesota Timberwolves trading their No. 5 pick to the Chicago Bulls for the services of Jimmy Butler, which doesn’t really sound like all that bad of a deal on the surface.

However, now we’re learning that the Bulls would be willing to work out a deal with the T-Wolves, but the price tag might be a little too much.

That’s because the price tag is apparently one Andrew Wiggins.

Okay, we can all just sit back and agree right now that this doesn’t have a chance in the world of happening, right?

Now this isn’t to say that Butler isn’t a fantastic basketball player, but the Timberwolves would be close to out of their minds to let someone like Wiggins depart from the roster. He’s one of the fastest rising stars in the league and he’s going to be the cornerstone of that Minnesota team as they continue to only get better with their young corps they have and new head coach Tom Thibodeau.

It was fun to talk about for a few days, but you can pretty much put that Timberwolves-Bulls deal to bed after this latest report.
