3. Jimmy Butler

The Bulls are at a cross-roads in their franchise, and they will have to decide whether to blow the whole thing up, or to try to piece it together around Butler. Butler throughout the season mentioned his frustrations with the coaches and the front office, and seemed to be team Tom Thibodeau in his firing.

Add to that there are now reports that Thibodeau is now gunning to get Butler on his new team in Minnesota it would mean at the least the Bulls will have listen to other offers. In terms of offers the Celtics could probably beat the Timberwolves.

The Celtics with the No. 3 pick, Avery Bradley, and a flurry of draft picks might be a good idea to throw at the Bulls and see it beats the Timberwolves.

With Butler you basically get an Avery Bradley defender who can score with the best of the league and make Isaiah Thomas and him one of the most feared back courts in the NBA. They would also be using draft picks to lure the Bulls here, so they would keep the majority of the core coming into the 2016-17 season.

It should be tough to pry Butler from Chicago, but if he is seeing and hearing that Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah are out, and does not trust the coaching staff, it may be for the best. For the Celtics it kind of feels like a no brainer, and there is a good chance that the Bulls can haggle a few extra picks here and there for this block buster.
