Join us as we reminisce on the flyest fashion statements the NBA Draft has seen in each of the past 10 years.
Every year, avid NBA fans can count on seeing these three familiar things during the annual draft night festivities: A lot of handshaking, a variety of caps being placed on heads, and enough freshly tailored suits to fill out a Men’s Wearhouse catalog.
It’s easy to see why so much emphasis is put onto what these impending pros decide to wear during their big night. The draft marks the first time the selected players will represent the teams that bring them aboard, so, making a strong first impression is everything.

After all, no one wants to kick of their NBA career looking like they made a last minute suit out of their mom’s carpet–unless you’re like Charles Barkley and style is about as foreign to you as an NBA Championship was to him.
As we approach the 2016 NBA Draft, we’ve taken a look back at the past 10 years of draft fashion and chose 10 suits of the best suits that were worn during the official start of the NBA offseason.
What exactly constitutes a suit being considered one of the best? Frankly, it has a lot to do with simplicity, boldness, uniqueness, usage of color, and a variety of other aesthetic qualities. Basically, if the suit stands out in a tasteful manner, and at the same time, doesn’t make your eyes want to implode, it’s safe to say it’s a pretty good suit.
