While Game 6 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers was a huge game at home for the Cavaliers, one of the best parts of the night was Craig Sager.

Turner Sports and ESPN worked out a deal that would allow Sager to work his first NBA Finals game. Sager is in the middle of a fight with cancer and his battle has earned the Jimmy V. award at the upcoming ESPY’s.

He received a standing ovation from the crowd on Thursday night, but there was an even more special moment after the game, when Sager heard someone mention they know someone currently battling cancer.

Sager decided to FaceTime that individual and the two shared their stories of their battles with cancer.

If this video doesn’t make you appreciate just how awesome of a human being Sager is, then nothing will. The fact he took time out of his busy schedule to discuss cancer and inspire someone that is battling the same thing speaks to his character.

There will forever be one Craig Sager.
