Dustin Johnson has once again gotten off to a great start at the U.S. Open, while the other top golfers have faltered and struggled to make the cut. With two rounds being played on Saturday, because of weather on Friday, there was certainly plenty of strange moments at Oakmont.

One of those strange events came during Johnson’s second round on Saturday, when he teed off at the second hole of the third round of the U.S. Open. As Johnson teed off, he appeared to have lost his ball.

Apparently,  Johnson’s ball landed on a hungry spectator that was in the process of acquiring a hot dog.

No one was quite sure where the ball went at first, after Johnson has teed off.

Johnson has been known to get off to great starts at these types of events before, but he’s also known for going into meltdown mode on Sunday’s and letting things slip away from him on the course.

If he’s trying to get an early start on doing that, then hitting a guy buying a hot dog is a fantastic way to let others catch up on the leaderboard.
