It has to be hard as an NBA owner to look at other teams winning championships and not be angry. After all the entire goal of owning an NBA franchise should be winning that ultimate prize at the end of the year. It has to be even harder when the team winning the title is led by a player that you dislike, which apparently seemed to be the case before Sunday night with Mark Cuban and LeBron James. But on Monday morning Cuban made sure to reach out and congratulate James on his third NBA title.

It is a bit strange of a way to compliment a guy but well it also feels so positively Cuban. The fact that he even reached out to say congrats is something most NBA owners won’t do so that was cool of him I guess.

Cuban also had another tweet about the Cavs win that will hit home to a lot of people.

Considering how many Cavs fans that we have on staff in the Hardwood Paroxysm Basketball Network it isn’t hard to agree with Cuban. The entire group was overcome with emotions last night, crying as soon as the Cavs won and staying in a state of disbelief for hours. Considering how awful things can be sometimes, having that one moment of pure joy that lasts for a few hours is something any sports fan should get to feel. Cuban is right on.
