The Nuggets have all of the pieces to make a draft day trade

The Nuggets are in a bit of a rebuild process right now, but it seems to be working out for the best. They have a young core led by Emmanuel Mudiay, Jusuf Nurkic, Nikola Jokic, and Gary Harris. They also have a strong presence of veteran talent. To go with all of that, they have three first round picks in this years NBA draft.

They hold picks number 7, 15,19, 53, and 56 in this year’s draft. With the roster the way that it is currently constructed they will need to either take a few draft and stash players, or they will be looking to make a couple of trades, turning a few of their assets into one bigger piece.

The Nuggets can go in almost any direction with where the team is. However, their goal should be to maintain those four young pieces and build a stronger roster around them.

Rumors have already surfaced of the Nuggets being interested in moving on from Danilo Gallinari, Will Barton and Kenneth Faried in order to continue with these young up can comers. Therefore it seems likely that the Nuggets will be making some type of move on draft night.

That said, here are five moves the Nuggets should consider making during the 2016 draft
