Here are five reasons why the 2016 NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers was the best of all-time.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors gave us an NBA finals that will be remembered for years and years to come. It was a rematch of the Finals last year but both teams were relatively healthy and were ready for battle.

The Cavaliers won in seven games and LeBron James fulfilled his promise to the city of Cleveland. That promise was to bring a major championship to the city which hadn’t tasted a championship since the Cleveland Browns won the NFL Championship in 1964. This series had everything you could ask for. It had the biggest names, MVP’s and a whole bunch of trash talking.

It blew up twitter every time it was on and the drama didn’t stop on the court but off. Whether it be emojis, players wives talking junk or coaches ripping the refs to get some calls.

The pressure was equal for both sides. The Warriors were in pursuit in being crowned the best team ever. They already claimed that title for the regular season but they need to get that second ring to officially claim the throne. There was only one problem and that was LeBron James.

Here are five reasons why this was the best NBA Finals ever.
