2016 NBA Mock Draft: Draft day!

Today will be a joyous day for many as all the blood, sweat and tears are finally going to pay off in the form of men — and their families — reaching the pinnacle of their sport; the NBA. Walking across that stage and shaking the hand of Adam Silver will be the highlight of the night for first round selections in attendance.

Inevitably there will be a green room invitee who will slide down draft boards and somehow with each and every selection that is not their name, the camera will find them at an inopportune time as to shed light on their current dismay. Players will don the hat of their new club — any possibly two if traded — and grin wider than ever before with hope and dollar signs floating through their minds almost immediately.

The Boston Celtics hold eight of the 60 selections, so there will certainly be some movement in the form of trades and/or selling of draft picks. Players like Jeff Teague and Kevin Love could find themselves with new homes, while their teams try to bolster their talent level to battle the Cavaliers, Warriors and Thunder next season.

All in all, tonight is celebration people — so enjoy yourself!
