1. With Kings for DeMarcus Cousins, No. 8 pick

If you’re going to make a trade and you’re the 76ers, why would you not just swing for the fences? And if that’s the case, there’s no player that could be feasibly gotten on the trade market on draft day than DeMarcus Cousins in a trade with the Sacramento Kings.

What’s interesting is that the Sixers, despite being an absolutely abysmal basketball team with not a whole lot going for them on the court, undoubtedly have a litany of assets both in terms of players and draft picks that they could move to make a huge trade happen. So they could theoretically pull off a trade with the Kings that has the baseline of the Sacramento sending Philly Cousins and the No. 8 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft while the Kings get a bit of a rest from the 76ers with the No. 1 overall pick and maybe even a Jahlil Okafor or someone in a trade.

Obviously there would have to be other pieces involved to make the money work and so on and so forth. However, the 76ers have enough assets to where they could theoretically pull off a move for an All-Star level talent like a Cousins. The question is whether or not they’ll think that big or be looking at smaller potential trades on draft day.
