Caris LeVert’s NBA Draft suit is peak Michigan (Photo)
There’s repping your college and then there’s doing what Caris LeVert did with his suit at the 2016 NBA Draft
When it comes to the NBA Draft and the suits that the prospects that are in the green room wear to the Barclays Center these days, you see a lot of players representing where they went to college, high school, or even something like their nickname.
Former Michigan Wolverines guard Caris LeVert just took this game to a new level, though.
On Thursday night for the 2016 NBA Draft, LeVert repped Michigan in the most flamboyant way possible as he rocked a maize and blue suit that was one for the ages:
The nicest thing I can say about that suit is that it’s the ugliest single piece of clothing that I’ve ever seen in my entire life.
LeVert was drafted much earlier than expected, being selected in the first round even. Moreover, the Michigan guard is going to a situation where he should be able to start playing immediately as he’ll be headed to the Brooklyn Nets as they got the No. 20 pick in this draft in an earlier “proposed trade” with the Indiana Pacers for Thaddeus Young.
We wish him all of the success in the world as he stays in Brooklyn after the draft—but the real winners are the fans as the Nets’ colors are black and white and we’ll never have to see a suit like this again.
