Buffalo News 4 is reporting that two crime reports have been filed against left winger Evander Kane of the Buffalo Sabres. These reports come on top of reports from 2015 that Kane committed a sexual offense at a local Buffalo Marriott hotel.

The reports are related to an incident that followed Kane’s night out at a local Buffalo bar called “Bottoms Up.” The owner states that Kane was removed from his establishment on Thursday night. It’s still unknown what crimes Kane is alleged to have committed.

Kane is no stranger to controversy, as he’s had run-ins with coaches of the Winnipeg Jets on the subject of whether he was injured or not, whether he paid his tab at local restaurants or not, and whether he wanted out of Winnipeg in general.

Kane is infamous for flaunting his wealth on social media, taking pictures of himself with stacks of hundreds, most notably doing pushups with money on his back and pretending to use money as a phone. He’s been accused of homophobia due to a tweet he posted as well.

Kane has talent, and that’s arguably the only reason why he was allowed to stay with the Jets for so long. His string of alleged crimes and flat-out dumb social media posts are serious red flags for anyone, regardless of his skill with a stick and a puck.

These recent allegations might prove to be too much for the Buffalo Sabres though, as they might be too much to deal with.
