Streaker gets tackled during CFL opener (Video)
A couple of streakers ran on the field during the CFL season opener on Friday night with one of them getting slammed to the ground by a player.
The CFL season is underway and the crowd at the game between the Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tigercats got their money’s worth.
I’m not talking about the game. I’m talking about some extracurricular activities that took place during the game. But it’s not a big touchdown run or catch or even an interception or game-changing sack that I’m talking about.
No, the talk of the CFL opener between Toronto and Hamilton was the pair of streakers that ran around the field and interrupted the game and gave the fans in attendance an incredible story to tell.
Now, we are taking some liberty with the term “streaker” because they didn’t go “Full Monty” for the crowd, but they did run around like a couple of knuckleheads who may have had one too many Molson’s before kickoff.
The second streaker that came out moments after the first one didn’t get whisked away in a non-violent manner like the first one. After he was running around for 25 seconds or so, the streaker did not have his head on a swivel and took a shot like a wide receiver going over the middle and a free safety comes into decleat him.
Keep your eyes peeled for the streaker going down toward the end of the clip.
I’ve never gone to a sporting event and thought it would be a great time to run around with my clothes off, but apparently that’s just the type of excitement that only the CFL Kickoff can inspire.
