Both the USMNT and Colombia are coming off of shutout losses in the semifinals, but that doesn’t mean their tournament is over. After playing each other to kick off the Copa America tournament, they will meet again in the third place game.
There is little on the line, and these games are generally played without a lot of enthusiasm, but a win here at least softens the blow of their respective semifinal losses. Colombia won their first meeting 2-0 but have gotten progressively worse since then. And with this being USA’s last tournament game, they turned to a familiar face in goal with Tim Howard, in what could be his swansong with the USMNT.

This match will be played at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
