5 reasons Kevin Durant signs with Los Angeles Clippers

Kevin Durant will meet with at least six teams in 2016 NBA free agency. Here are five reasons the Los Angeles Clippers can land him as a dark horse team.
The Kevin Durant free agency sweepstakes is set to take place on July 1st, 2016, when the long-time swingman for the Oklahoma City Thunder hits unrestricted free agency after nine outstanding years with the SuperSonics/Thunder franchise.
Durant’s representatives at Roc Nation have said that their client will meet with six NBA teams regarding his NBA free agency: the Thunder, the Golden State Warriors, the Miami Heat, the San Antonio Spurs, the Boston Celtics, and the Los Angeles Clippers.
While it appears that the Warriors and the Heat are the two teams most likely to steal Durant away from Oklahoma City, he might want to seriously consider playing for the team he makes his offseason home in Los Angeles with a strong Clippers team.
Though the Clippers have yet to reach the Western Conference Finals under head coach Doc Rivers, there is belief that with a good string of health and an obvious upgrade at small forward that Durant could absolutely provide that the losingest franchise in NBA history can now become a proven winner. Here are five reasons that Durant needs to consider taking his talents to Los Angeles and play for Rivers’ Clippers.
