Free agency is just a few days away and that means it won’t be long until we find out where Kevin Durant will be playing next in the NBA. One of the surprise teams that seems to have a real shot at him is the New York Knicks.

After acquiring Derrick Rose from the Chicago Bulls, the New York Knicks are all in on building a team of superstars. With Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis and Derrick Rose already in place, the Knicks have pieces that could sway Durant to joining New York.

According to Ian Begley, Durant is intrigued by the Knicks and he thinks they have a good team.

This will only continue to stoke the flames of speculation that are already surrounding the pairing. We know that Durant and Anthony are great friends and that Anthony will be trying his hardest to get Durant to come play with him.

The Knicks are clearly one of the finalists for his services when free agency begins and that means that they got as good of a shot as any other team to land him and turn the Knicks into a powerhouse in the Eastern Conference.
