4. Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers will probably end up getting yet another lottery pick next season and it’s because they aren’t building around certain players, yet using some other lottery picks as trade options.

Nerlens Noel should be a solid piece for the future, but around NBA draft time, rumors were spreading that they were willing to deal him for a pick or two — which makes little sense seeing as he is probably a better option than most guys in the 2016 NBA Draft.

Jahlil Okafor was a top Rookie of the Year candidate, but rumor has it he wants to join a winner. Michael Carter-Williams was traded away, Joel Embiid has been injured for two years and Nik Stauskas was traded for, but has been a bust thus far.

Ben Simmons is the last hope for this franchise to turn things around, but even he’s not going to be able to pull off a magic trick like that in a year or two. While Rondo could make the guys around him better in Philadelphia, chances are he’s not going to want to play for a project team yet again after a year in Sacramento.

Philadelphia likely wants to land Rondo, but Rajon would be wise to stay as far away as possible. If he wants another championship, he might want to look elsewhere.
