Free agency is less than 24 hours away in the NBA and all of the speculation is running rampant at the moment. The New York Knicks have created the most buzz of any team over the last week, as they acquired Derrick Rose from the Chicago Bulls and are rumored to be closing in on free agent center Joakim Noah, according to Tim Bontemps.

While the Knicks roster would look far more impressive with Kristaps Porzingis, Carmelo Anthony, Rose and Noah, it doesn’t appear that they’re going to just stop the spending at Noah if they don’t have to.

According to Chris Broussard, the Knicks along with other teams are reportedly interested in free agent shooting guard Eric Gordon.

Gordon has had issues staying healthy every season he has been in the league, but when he’s on the court he can be a lethal scorer and shooter. The Knicks could use more shooters on the roster and adding Gordon to what appears to be a strengthened core could go a long way in getting the Knicks back in the playoffs.

They will of course have to be able to match what the other teams will be able to in money if they want to sign him.
