Every NBA team’s free agent pitch to Kevin Durant
Portland Trail Blazers
The Blazers are just good, plain and simple. They’re a well-run organization that knows how to keep themselves relevant, no matter what situations they go through. Their entire core was blown up in one offseason, and the front office responded by getting solid talent to put next to Damian Lillard while he set the NBA on fire. They put themselves into the second round of the playoffs last year despite a roster that shouldn’t have even sniffed the playoffs, and that was largely thanks to head coach Terry Stotts. He knows how to get the best out of his players whether they’re the last man on the roster or the best player.
If Durant comes to Portland he’ll be coached by one of the best in the league, and he can trust that the front office will get him the talent needed to win games. An added perk is he gets to be in Portland which has slowly become one of the cooler cities in the country to live in. They’re young, progressive, and a little weird which is just the way they like it. The fans in Portland are some of the best in the NBA, and there is nothing the city loves more than the Blazers. When people from out of town move to the city it’s a requirement to attend at least one Blazers game in order to become an official resident. It’s written in the law. Don’t look at them just trust us.
