Boston Celtics

The Celtics are one of the two most historic franchises in NBA history. There are so many names that have worn that uniform and will be remembered forever because of it. Bill Russell, Paul Pierce, John Havlicek, Kevin Mchale, Robert Parish, Bob Cousy, Red Auerbach, Kevin Garnett, Larry Bird. Next? Kevin Durant. This is a historic franchise that knows how to win when they get their stars, and that’s just what they’ll do once they get Durant. Danny Ainge has tons of assets that he can use to bring in the stars necessary to help, and the team is coached by a certified genius in Brad Stevens.

Imagine what Stevens will be able to do when he’s working with Isaiah Thomas, Kevin Durant, and DeMarcus Cousins. That kind of firepower with Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley on the wings is just the type of team that Danny Ainge has been looking to build, but he needs Durant to make it happen. When it does happen he will win here, and once you win in Boston there’s no city or fanbase that’ll talk you up more. If Durant cares at all about his historical legacy then he will sign with the Celtics.
