Chicago Bulls

The Bulls dominated the 90’s and that has made them one of the NBA’s most iconic franchises. Ever since nobody has been able to live up to what Jordan was, and anybody that tried couldn’t get close. After Derrick Rose gave it a go, he was traded to New York and there were rumors on draft night that Jimmy Butler was on his way out as well. Joakim Noah is most certainly gone, and Pau Gasol doesn’t seem likely to stay either. This is a franchise in need of a fresh start. A new superstar.

In comes Kevin Durant to be just that. A new face of the franchise up to the challenge to try and do what Michael did. And if he succeeds at it then it’ll be a fun bar debate for years to come. Who was the greatest Bulls team ever? The one with Jordan or the one with Durant? He also gets to play in the giant market of Chicago, and without Russell Westbrook around he’ll be the de-facto number one star. Durant’s already a pretty popular guy, but with an organization like the Bulls he’ll only grow bigger. Endorsements will be even more fruitful, and then he gets to play in a big city. What’s not to love?
