According to a report, the Los Angeles Lakers will bring back Jordan Clarkson on a four-year deal.
Just when everyone thought free agency was done for the night and would resume in the morning, teams weren’t done doing deals in the NBA. After hitting restricted free agency, it doesn’t appear that Los Angeles Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson will be on the market very long.
According to Shams Charania, the Lakers and Clarkson have agreed to a four-year/$50 million deal that will keep him in Los Angeles.
The Lakers have had a busy first night of free agency after agreeing to terms with center Timofey Mozgov on a massive deal. Now, they wrap up an important piece of their future in Clarkson and get him at a pretty solid price considering the market.
Now, the Lakers will be able to move forward with their young core remaining together and it will be interesting to see how the team fills out the rest of their roster. It’s filled with young players, but it will need more veteran talent to fill out the roster.
