The Miami Heat stand a chance to lose plenty of quality players in free agency. With Hassan Whiteside on his way out the door, the Heat could be losing another key piece from their roster, as Luol Deng is a free agent.

Is there a chance that Deng reunites with his former head coach Tom Thibodeau? According to Darren Wolfson, the Minnesota Timberwolves are expected to reach out to Deng and add him to their impressive crop of young players.

The Timberwolves aren’t the only young team that is hot after Deng. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Utah Jazz are hoping to add Deng to their young core as well and help turn them into a playoff team.

Both of these teams aren’t far from being a playoff team and by adding one or two veteran pieces, they could possibly sneak into a playoff spot and begin to make some noise.

Deng proved his worth when Chris Bosh went down with a health scare last year and he would be a great addition for either of these teams.
