Free agency has gotten off to a fast start in the NBA, but the trade market has yet to really take off just yet. The reason for that is teams are waiting for the top players to make their moves in free agency and when that is done, the rest should fall into place and there should be movement between teams.

It appears that their could be some movement between the Pacific and Central divisions. According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, the Indiana Pacers and Sacramento Kings have had recent discussions involving forward Rudy Gay.

This report comes on the heels of some rumblings that Adrian Wojnarowski heard eight days ago between the two teams. Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the two sides are discussing a deal at this moment, but it’s been discussed.

The Pacers could really use a wing that could shoot and Gay fits that bill. The Kings meanwhile are transitioning their roster and have some young talent primed for more minutes.
