The New York Knicks Orlando Summer League team has not had what one would call a successful run of games. They’ve yet to score over 50 points, they have no first round pick to get fans excited about, and Kristaps Porzingis isn’t around. Now, it looks like they can’t even get proper jerseys for their players.

Yep, that’s Knicks big man Devin Booker out of France. He’s a summer league roster guy, and apparently the Knicks don’t want to spend the extra money necessary to buy him a new jersey. His number is 41, and to represent that is a piece of paper pasted over the 0 to represent a 1. It’s like this on both sides of his jersey and it’s quite frankly the most amazing thing ever.

There are so many questions such as what’s wrong with his jersey? Was he supposed to be number 40 before they signed Marshall Plumlee and had to fix it? Why didn’t they just make him another jersey?

Well, at least it’s just his number and not the name plate. If they had made the nameplate just a piece of paper with his name written in sharpie then Summer League itself would have peaked from being too much Summer League. A las. Maybe next year.
