Whataburger decided to throw some shade at Kevin Durant by trolling him over his decision to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder and join the Warriors.

Kevin Durant’s decision to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder and join the Golden State Warriors surprised a lot of people and made a lot of people upset. One of those people runs the Twitter account for Whataburger, a popular midwest fast food burger chain that has locations in Oklahoma City.

Whataburger’s Twitter account threw some shade at Durant and perhaps some shade at In-N-Out Burger after the decision.

While Whataburger does have good burgers, it’s not likely that Durant will miss Whataburger too much. He’s going from Whataburger to In-N-Out burger. That’s a huge step up as far as fast food burgers are concerned.

Durant’s move to leave the Thunder is one that is not popular in Oklahoma City. He is arguably the most popular athlete in the history of Oklahoma. Durant came with the Seattle Supersonics and helped turn Oklahoma City into a basketball market, leading them to the playoffs many times and once leading them to the NBA Finals.

His decision to leave the Thunder, though, is one that is understandable. Durant has been obsessed with winning a championship. He has the best chance possible of winning a title with the Warriors. At some point, the usually unselfish Durant made the decision to finally think about himself for once. That sums up why he signed with the Warriors.
