Madison Bumgarner-San Francisco Giants (11,400): Bumgarner hasn’t been quite as dialed in as usual lately and has actually allowed at least three earned runs in each of his last two starts.  He has given up a homer in five straight outings, and his ERA has risen to over 2.00.  However, he’s still a good option tonight and can definitely produce huge fantasy points when he’s at his best.  Usually Bumgarner is a great play at home, and he already beat the Rockies in a home start earlier this season.

He’ll face Colorado again tonight as he looks to improve to 10-4 on the season.  Bumgarner is almost always a great source of K’s and has 16 in his 13.1 innings against Colorado this season.  Bumgarner is a pricy option for tonight, but he’s a pretty sure bet to give you a good start with the really potential to go off and give you a great outing. ∗∗

Carlos Carrasco-Cleveland Indians (10,200): Cleveland starter Carlos Carrasco doesn’t have a great history against the Tigers, but he’s been in such an incredible groove lately that he makes sense to go with tonight.  Cleveland has won its last ten meetings with the Tigers including a shutout that Carrasco threw against Detroit a week ago Saturday.

Carrasco followed that start with a 14-strikeout performance against the Blue Jays as he lowered his ERA to 2.56 to go with an impressive 1.06 WHIP.  Carrasco is only 4-2 on the season, but he has been dominant in his last two starts and allowed two earned runs or fewer in seven of his last nine appearances. This hear, he has held the Tigers scoreless for 11.2 innings total which is an impressive improvement over his 3-4 record with a 5.64 ERA in the previous three seasons before this one.  Given his current form, Carrasco is a nice value at just over 10K and is sure to be one of the most popular options on the board tonight.
