It’s the biggest party of the summer for the WWE and this August, Brock Lesnar will be returning to the squared circle for one of his biggest matches yet. Ever since Monday Night Raw, the WWE has been teasing that they will announce Lesnar’s opponent for Summerslam on Smackdown.

With Lesnar set to take on Mark Hunt in the main event of UFC 200 this Saturday, all eyes will be on Lesnar going forward and that means at Summerslam, the main event feeling in the air will be at an all-time high.

On Smackdown on Thursday night, it was officially announced that the returning Randy Orton will be taking on Lesnar at Summerslam.

"IT’S OFFICIAL! #TheBeast @BrockLesnar will go one-on-one with #TheViper @RandyOrton at @WWE #SummerSlam! #SmackDown https://t.co/8bjUgryhSq— WWE (@WWE) July 8, 2016"

For Orton, this is a huge task to undertake after coming back from a shoulder injury. However, everyone’s dream is to see him counter an F5 into an RKO and wrestling fans might finally get their wish to come true at Summerslam.

With two vastly different styles, this match has the potential to be a classic. The only question is how the booking will be leading up to the big match.

Still, this is the perfect match to carry Summerslam.
