Dwyane Wade says he made the right choice with the Chicago Bulls.

Wade believes that he has made the “right choice. A statement he made in a letter to the Associate Press last night. Wade also stated that “this was not an easy decision” as the 12 time time all-star spent his whole 13 year career with the Miami Heat bringing them three championship rings.

What it ultimately came down to for Wade was wanting the Heat to fight for him. Though Pat Riley and the Miami Heat did not oblige when Wade’s asking price rose from $40 million over two years to $50 million.

The Miami Heat felt that they would rather save their money and go after the possible big fishes next year in free agency. Some of the big names include Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin.

With Miami not increasing their offer, Wade saw it as a slap in the face. He decided to return home similar to what LeBron did in 2014 and join Jimmy Butler and the Chicago Bulls.

A source told Chris Broussard that Jimmy Butler made a phone call recruiting Wade. They are reportedly looking forward to playing with each other. Though in reality, this should not be a match made in heaven as both players need the ball to be effective.

With Rajon Rondo already in the fold at point guard, another player who needs the ball to be be effective, things could get very interesting for second year head coach Fred Hoiberg and the Bulls.
