MIAMI, FL - MARCH 25: Owner Micky Arison and guard Dwyane Wade

On Wednesday night, Dwyane Wade agreed to a contract with the Chicago Bulls, leaving the Miami Heat after 13 seasons. Heat owner Mickey Arison showed class in response.

Miami Heat Owner Mickey Arison showed his class once again on Wednesday night, tweeting former Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade after Wade agreed to a new deal with the Chicago Bulls.

Throughout his ownership, Arison has shown to be a great owner, guiding the Heat to three NBA championships during his tenure. Arison has been the owner of the Heat since 1995, and Wade has been the face of the franchise since he was drafted with the fifth pick in the 2003 NBA Draft.

Wednesday, The Vertical announced that Wade would be leaving South Beach for Chicago, as the 12-time All-Star will be heading home to the city where he was born.

Many believed he would retire as a member of the Miami Heat, but the organization and their star could not come to an agreement on a new deal.

This is not the first time Arison has shown his class in the past month, as he was one of the first to tweet to LeBron James when the former Miami Heat star won the NBA Championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers in June.

Arison and Wade have a mutual respect for one another, and Arison will likely honor Wade once more when the Heat inevitably retire his #3 when his career is all said and done. Wade has been one of the better players in the NBA for a very long time, attracting some of the biggest names in the sport to come to Miami and play for the Heat.

For Arison and general manager Pat Riley, it is back to the drawing board, as they try to piece together a roster for the upcoming season that revolves around Hassan Whiteside and Chris Bosh.
