When will the Nike Color Run at the 2016 MLB All-Star Game be taking place and where will it be held?

As a part of the 2016 MLB All-Star Game festivities, there will be a Nike Color Run. Color runs are a fun event where participants will often be doused in washable colors. At the end of each race, participants are covered in color. The event was created back in 2011 and it has quickly achieved worldwide popularity with similar events held all across the globe.

In San Diego, the home of the All-Star game in 2016, they will be having a Nike Color Run on Sunday July 10. The start time will vary from 7:00 AM to 8:20 AM Pacific Time. It will start at Waterfront Park at 1600 Pacific Highway. Check-in will begin on Saturday July 9 though you can also check in on July 10. From 6:30 to 7:30 AM, there will be a variety of MLB legends and mascots around.

The run will be a 5 kilometer run, meaning that it will be roughly 3.2 miles. This year’s Nike Color Run will help a number of charities, including The Boys and Girls Club of Greater San Diego and Break the Silence Against Domestic Violence. If you would like to register, you can register here either as a member of a team or as an individual. Before and after the race, there will be a variety of giveaways, including a party at the end of the Nike Color Run.
