As the MLB trade deadline looms, the Braves need to make some moves in order to remain competitive.

The Atlanta Braves haven’t exactly had the best season. They’re sitting at 30-58 and are currently sitting in last place in the NL East, behind teams like the Miami Marlins and the Philadelphia Phillies. There’s no guarantee that the Braves are going to get better, either. Their slumps are looking less like slumps and more like the best they can do with what they have.

With the trade deadline coming up fast, it’s becoming obvious to any observer that the Braves need to shake up their roster if they want to break out of the cellar of the NL East. Here are five trades that the Braves could conceivably make before the deadline that would help them immensely.
