3. Texas Rangers

At 54-36, the Texas Rangers have the best record in the American League and appear well on their way to becoming true World Series contenders this season. The Rangers have used an incredible mix of young, impact position players to get them in the favorable position they are currently in.

If Trout were to truly become available, I imagine that the always-aggressive Rangers would be ready to make a significant bid. Now, the Angels are obviously going to hesitate to deal a generational talent to a division rival, but if they make a Godfather offer, it may be tough to turn down.

The Rangers undoubtedly have the collection of talent to make sense here, with top prospect Joey Gallo and his ridiculous power immediately coming to mind. Jurickson Profar has turned his career around this season, and may quickly become one of the most intruiging young players in the game again.

Profar and second baseman Rougned Odor would also be extremely interesting pieces for the Angels to consider.

Trading Trout to a division rival would be a tough move to make, but the Rangers giving the Angels a massive haul in exchange for him could also end up blowing up in their faces.

Perhaps a tough one to come together on, but the Rangers would be a great place for Trout to land and they have the ammo to make it happen.
