Here is the list of American League Starters for the 2016 MLB All-Star Game.

The 2016 MLB All-Star Game will officially take place on Tuesday night and while the starters were known for the event, managers of both teams officially announced their starting lineup and starting pitchers for the battle in San Diego.

Ned Yost is managing the American League again and he went with a pitcher in his division that he knew to start the game in Chris Sale. On the line in the game is a chance for a team from the winning league to have home-field advantage in the World Series.

Leading off for the American League will be Jose Altuve of the Astros. He will have a few heavy hitters behind him in Mike Trout, Manny Machado and David Ortiz to load up the middle of the lineup. There is some serious power there.

With a deep roster and a loaded pitching staff that will give the National League nightmares, here is the complete starting lineup for the American League in the 2016 MLB All-Star Game.
