The new ball for the 2016-17 Premier League season has been released and it’s pretty awesome

In just about a month from now, we’ll get to watch all of the beauty that is another Premier League soccer season. After one of the more memorable seasons in recent memory which saw Leicester City win an improbable title, everyone is itching for the Premier League to make its return.

Well when it does come back in August, the ball on the pitch will be looking a little bit different — and a little more awesome.

Nike has recently released a picture of the new ball that the sides will be playing with, and to say that it’s a beauty might be an understatement.

Each and every year, especially here in the United States, the Premier League continues to grow by leaps and bounds, and with that, they’re going to constantly keep re-branding things, which is always a good idea. This ball is just a small example of that.

In addition to the new ball, the Premier League will not have a title sponsor coming up this year and there was also a new league logo that was released as well.

Premier League action will indeed be looking a tad different this season, but not in a bad way by any means. What do you think of the new ball? Let us know in the comments below.
