Here is the complete list of the most valuable MLB teams of 2016, according to Forbes.

The business of sport has never been more prosperous. The money generated by professional teams and leagues continues to soar with record television deals and max contracts offered to role players just to reach the cap floor.

Just in the last few weeks, Indianapolis Colts’ quarterback Andrew Luck signed the richest deal in NFL history, while Memphis Grizzlies’ point guard Mike Conely did the same in the NBA.

MLB is no exception. By virtue of playing the most games, 162, MLB teams have more product to sell than any other league, which has helped many teams have evolve into billion dollar entities.

The New York Yankees are again the highest-valued organization on the Forbes list, with the average value of all 30 MLB teams at record-high $1.29 billion.
